K.D. Stahl Construction Progress Update: cCare Nordahl Medical Centre Tenant Improvement /  by Sean Stahl

 

There is a lot happening at the cCare Nordahl Medical Centre. Framing is complete, Drywall is hung and being taped and hot coated while some sections are in the finished coat phase. We currently have Greater San Diego Air Conditioning  on site installing all the HVAC systems, some of which is the AAON system for the future pharmacy. 

 

We have just begun the cCare tenant Improvement at Nordahl Medical Centre. Framing is underway, here are a few photos of the detailed framing going in right now.

K.D. Stahl Construction Project Update: UCSD Pub and Event Space Renovation /  by Sean Stahl

 

A lot is changing at the UCSD Pub and Event Space as we push toward our completion date. below are a few images and notes on the current status of the project

 

The interior concrete ADA ramp and infills are poured and finished. All the interior walls are framed to the new floor plan. All mechanical, electrical and plumbing is installed. 

 

The interior and exterior demo is complete and the new openings for the entrance are framed. There will be two roll up doors in the main entrance which will give the new pub an open environment for the students. 

 

The new entrance to the concert venue is one of the biggest transformations on site thus far. The concrete walls and seats are poured and are now ready for the steps and CMU wall to be built on the upper section of the ramp. The exterior bar slab is poured and structure has been framed, sheeted, wrapped and ready for roofing.

Scope of work:
Tenant Improvement of non-profit medical and dental community center building. Existing shell to receive new stucco, new store front entry to be tiled and all new storefront glazing. Inside space was completely built out to accommodate and comply with all regulations necessary for medical and dental occupancy. The exterior hardscape was resurfaced and new concrete entry way poured per site plans.

Scope of Work:
The pub side will encompass demolition of existing walls, flooring, kitchen equipment, light fixtures and associated infrastructure. The new work for the pub is to prepare the space as a warm shell including mechanical, electrical, plumbing work, for a future vendor build-out. New walls, doors (interior and exterior), and new exterior patio areas with low retaining walls, metal gate and guardrails for dining will be constructed as part of this work. Demolition of existing bay window and walls to make the front elevation more transparent by use of two aluminum and glass fold-up doors. A new steel awning sunshade over the two fold-up doors. 

The stage venue will be a full upgrade and renovation to the space for the University to run as a separate occupant. The interior demolition consists of removing walls, concrete ramp and stairs, light fixtures, floors, flooring and other related infrastructure. The new work consists of creating a new concrete path from the main campus walkway, accessible ramps and stairs. A new storage room will be added in the center of the building with access of the shared corridor. The new interior work will provide flooring, accessible ramp, doors, windows, and associated infrastructure. The existing light fixtures will be replaced with LED light fixtures. The existing men's and women's restrooms, which will be shared by both venues, will be upgraded to current ADA standards where applicable. A new patio bar space with fold-up aluminum and glass doors will be constructed attaching to the east elevation.

Project Update: Rancho Vista Community Church /  by Sean Stahl

The 3177sq. ft. two story church tenant improvement for Rancho Vista Community Church is well underway. We are currently in the framing, drywall and MEP rough-in stages.

K.D. Stahl Construction Project Update: Toussaint Academy of San Diego /  by Sean Stahl

We've moved into the second phase at Toussaint Academy in the heart of San Diego, Ca. We are currently, replacing the window cladding with a black finished metal and will be removing the interior window film to be replaced with an energy efficient retrofit film.

Toussaint Academy's new exterior look is almost there. Once the new energy efficient retrofit window film is installed, this academy will be presenting well.

Project update: Phase one is almost complete as the exterior of Toussaint Academy gets repainted.
